Webinar: Achieving Smarter Business Outcomes -- Operational Transformation with Case Management
November 12, 2015
Noon - 1 PM (EST)

Webinar Overview: Join IBM and its Premier Business Partner, Image Process Design (IPD), on November 12th for an informational webinar focused on achieving seemingly conflicting goals at national insurance companies. How can large companies reduce costs, improve productivity and improve the customer experience simultaneously? The key is with your knowledge workers!

Did you know most insurance companies are 7-8 years behind technology trends from an operational systems standpoint? Often times, the systems of record that these companies utilize are extremely expensive to replace and costly to modify and modernize as their business processes change. Furthermore, the knowledge workers and other users of these systems require significant training and are underutilized because they rely on multiple, non-integrated, structured and unstructured information and related systems just to complete basic functions.

During this webinar, IPD will provide an in-depth look at its solution: Ultera software and the powerful IBM platform it sits on. Ultera is a flexible, out of the box solution that allows insurance companies to better leverage their legacy systems, while adding missing, more modern capabilities. Ultera has built-in knowledge worker productivity features to gain efficiencies. Its user interfaces modernize your operation, combining your existing data and transaction processing systems with powerful workflow, content management, case management, customer collaboration, analytics and business rules. Ultera is powered by IBM ECM and Analytics platforms which are leaders in these categories.

Webinar Overview:
Continued cost escalation shows that healthcare is broken. Even the most progressive health providers and payers today say their Care Management operation is over-tooled and under-integrated. Care Managers want a single, powerful and usable tool. The time is now. IT is finally ready for the convergence of legacy systems, unstructured content, case management functionality, analytics and mobility to transform healthcare. However, to understand this potential transformation, we must first explore why current care management systems are failing to help health plans reduce operational cost and improve member health & loyalty.
