“Adaptive case management refers to case management domains with far less structure than traditional case management,” Gartner states. There are limitations of some case management solutions, Gartner explains, “CRM applications may be considered for only the simplest of service request types of cases.” Consider several requirements when searching for a solution, “iBPM [intelligent BPM suite] leverage declarative models, explicit rules, context metadata, content state, event-driven architecture, analytics and other techniques to advance the case. These techniques are appropriate for adaptive case management scenarios,” Gartner adds.
