IPD teams with IBM to deliver best-of-breed workflow and content management applications to insurance companies.


BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI, May 16, 2001--Image Process Design (IPD), a workflow and document management software and systems integration company, announced IPD's Solution Suite software will utilize IBM Content Manager* Version 7.1 and IBM Enterprise Information Portal (EIP) to support virtually all enterprise content and document management.

The combined solution will benefit large insurance organizations seeking to transform back office and Internet based work processes.

IPD's Solution Suite is a web-based workflow application that manages disparate types of data, images and documents and uses complex routing rules and queues to transform the way mission critical work in process and associated documents flow through an organization. These documents are stored and archived in IBM Content Manager. The IPD Solution Suite is the back bone to work-in-process and allows stakeholders, via the web, to actively participate in the work process.

IPD's proven application software and extensive experience coupled with data management middleware from IBM will bring additional business value to IPD's customers. IPD has more then 45 reference sites including many of the major health and life insurance companies in the country.
