Image Process Design announces new client Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina


Bloomfield Hills, March 12, 2001 – Image Process Design (IPD), the leading provider of workflow, process automation, and content management solutions for the insurance industry is pleased to announce the addition of their newest client, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC). North Carolina’s largest health insurer will now utilize the IPD Solution Suite as they bring their next generation of health plans to the marketplace.

BCBSNC is deploying a series of technology solutions to power their new products and simplify the health care experience for their customers. IPD’s software system will manage workflow for the company’s mission-critical claims processing system. “Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is committed to responding quickly and accurately to customer needs,” said Fred Goldwater, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, BCBSNC. “The IPD Solution Suite will help process the claims cycle, improve responsiveness and assure the success of our new suite of products.”

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina’s decision to select IPD was made after a comprehensive evaluation process.
