Steven Racine – President and CEO

Prior to founding IPD in 1991, Mr. Racine served as the National Director of Imaging/Workflow Consulting, as a partner at KPMG Peat Marwick. He has worked extensively in research and development of process and document management strategies and methodologies, and has assisted many organizations with managing the issues related to document management and process automation. Mr. Racine has instructed personnel from IBM, FileNet, Unisys and other companies on methodologies and trends in the process management marketplace. Mr. Racine was named Michigan’s 1998 Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young.

Gary Kay, Vice President, Operations

Mr. Kay serves as the Vice President of Operations for IPD. In this capacity, Mr. Kay has responsibility for IPD’s Professional Services and Product Development and Customer Service organizations. Mr. Kay joined IPD in 2001 after a 15 year career with KPMG Consulting/ BearingPoint where, as a partner, he led its multi-million dollar consulting practice in Michigan. His responsibilities included practice leadership, business development, methodology development, project service delivery, and staff development. He has significant experience in the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value. Mr. Kay has served clients in a wide variety of industries, including insurance, government, financial services, consumer products, and healthcare.

Alan Ker, CPA – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Ker, who joined IPD in 1999, has more than 26 years of financial and health care experience. Prior to joining IPD, Mr. Ker was the Chief Financial Officer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. From 1991 to 1999, he was the Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Secretary of Universal Standard Healthcare, Inc., which he took public, a NASDAQ listed company. Mr. Ker was the Regional Controller – West Coast of Damon Corporation from 1985 to 1991 and was the U.S. Controller of MDS Health Group Inc from 1980 to 1985. His public accounting experience includes the audit division of Deloitte Touche & Co. from 1973 to 1979.

Jeff Gierlach – Vice President, Product Development

Mr. Gierlach joined IPD in 2002 and has responsibility for all software development related activities. Prior to joining IPD, Mr. Gierlach’s career spans over 13 years in software development for the EAI, supply chain management and execution industries. Most recently Mr. Gierlach was Vice President of Product Development for Viewlocity, a global provider of Enterprise Application Integration and Supply Chain Event Management, and had responsibilities for all development and support activities in Europe and Asia. Prior to Viewlocity, Mr. Gierlach worked for Red Prairie Software (formerly McHugh Software International) as Director of Product Development, where he successfully led the development for several Supply Chain Management Systems.
